Forsyth Family Magazine Highlights Triple Crown Casino Night
Pretty In Pink Foundation’s 3rd annual Triple Crown Casino Night is featured in Forsyth Family
In 2004, Raleigh breast cancer surgeon, Dr. Lisa Tolnitch, discovered that some of her patients were not completing their treatment plans after diagnosis of breast cancer. Many lacked the funds to pay for chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, and were being forced to choose between paying for medical treatment or living expenses.
Unable to accept this potentially deadly reality, Dr. Tolnitch was motivated to establish Pretty In Pink Foundation. Since serving its first patient in 2006, the Foundation has covered the cost of thousands of lifesaving treatments for breast cancer patients – our Champions – in North Carolina.
2024 marks a significant milestone for Pretty In Pink Foundation as we celebrate our 20th anniversary! When Dr. Lisa Tolnitch founded Pretty In Pink, she had a goal of helping 10 breast cancer patients in Wake County…since 2006 we’ve served thousands of breast cancer patients across North Carolina.
As we reflect on the milestones and memories of the past 20 years, we are humbled by the generosity of our supporters, volunteers, partners, and community members. Your commitment has been the driving force behind every life touched by our Foundation’s work. With your continued partnership, we are poised to make an even greater impact in the years to come.
Celebrate this momentous milestone with us at this year’s Pink Pumps & Bow Ties Gala on Saturday, October 19th. Or donate to our 20th anniversary campaign, by clicking here.
